Could it be an Erika 9? For comparison, you can see pictures of mine here: http://www.retrotechgeneva.com/2012/01/old-faithful-seidel-naumann-erika-9-c.html
Wow, I think you nailed it: here's a torpedo that looks very very similar: http://occultoantonio.files.wordpress.com/2011/08/fotografie-0019.jpg http://occultoantonio.wordpress.com/typewriters/ (and I discovered another italian website with typewriters!)
at first glance i thought it was a royal portable too but then you look at the keys and its a qwertz keyboard so its most likely german then i thought it looks like an erika (like others here) but after looking at your pics - i agree with shordzi that it is indeed a torpedo

ReplyDeleteYour Erika seems thicker and the shape of the spacebar is different, I don't know... unfortunately the quality of this photo is very low :-(
DeleteI thought it was some sort of Royal, but Erika seems plausible.
ReplyDeleteI can't tell. It has a look that's typical of many portables form the '30s to the early '50s.
ReplyDeleteMy first guess is Torpedo.
